What is your business?
I am an Independent Director with Thirty-One Gifts. Thirty-One is a faith based direct sales company devoted to supporting and encouraging women. We offer monogrammed and personalized purses, totes, stationery, home décor jewelry and gifts for all occasions including weddings, baby and birthdays!
When did you start this business?
I joined Thirty-One in July 2012. I just celebrated my 4 year anniversary!
Why did you choose to participate in/start this business? Why are you passionate about it? What drives you to do this work?
To be honest, I became a consultant to get the enrollment kit, because it’s such a great bargain! Once I hosted my first party and started earning money and free products, I was hooked. Being a Thirty-One consultant is about so much more than a bag! Owning my own business provides me with the flexibility to be a stay-at- home mom while continuing to earn money and the power to set my own schedule and decide how much money I will make. I have an amazing team of women that I get to support and watch them reach for their dreams. The women I have met through this business have blessed my life in so many ways! I never dreamed that I would have a “job” that I love so much, that I am truly excited to get to do, and that it would lead me to so many new friends.
What do you want others to know about your business?
Anyone can do this! We have consultants from every walk of life, every profession imaginable, and all ages! It is no risk, and you will have support for your entire journey.
What should someone know about your business that have never heard of it, or tried your products?
We have something for everyone! From organizing your home & car, packing a lunch or snacks for a day at the ballfields, jewelry for you or for a gift, and providing stylish accessories and solutions for every woman in her daily life. Our quality is top-notch, and we have a 90 day product warranty. Our wonderful business opportunity is only $99! No inventory and 25% commission to start. Being a consultant is simple, and I’ll be with you every step of the way to teach you.
What makes your business stand out, or sets your business apart from others?
As consultants we are not required to carry inventory. Our customers shop from the catalog or our website at all different types of parties- home, on-the- go, catalog or Facebook- and orders are shipped to the party hostess or directly to the customer! We have the opportunity throughout the year to earn products free to supplement our kit, allowing us to use more of our commission on the things that are important to us!
Is there anything else we should know about your business?
It seems like there is always an incentive going on for consultants! This summer we are earning points toward free gift cards, free fall catalog products, and new consultants can earn up to 4 free product kits, and an exclusive roller bag valued at $180!
